Deirdre Jordan

Sandoz/ Medical Affairs Excellence Lead

Deirdre joined Sandoz in July 2018 as a Medical Affairs Lead in the Global Medical Affairs team in Small Molecules. She is responsible for leading Excellence in Medical Affairs specifically focusing on innovation and excellence in medical education and external engagement, understanding current trends and benchmarking, providing strategic direction for KPIs, metrics and analytics and establishing appropriate engagement and collaboration with country, regional and global medical associates.

Prior to joining Sandoz, Deirdre worked for Novartis Business Services (Medical Communications) firstly as a Medical Communications Manager supporting the Cardiometabolic Franchise in the execution of scientific events. Most recently she spent 2 years as the ICE Scientific Events Lead for the Global Respiratory Franchise responsible for the development and management of the events components of the ICE (Information, Communication & Events) plan with particular oversight of Congresses and scientific standalones. 

Prior to joining the Novartis group Deirdre held numerous positions in the Food Industry, of note almost 9 years with Japanese probiotic company Yakult as the Senior Science Officer for Yakult in Ireland
